LEGISLATOR - CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY DISTRICT 24

DAVID F. KLEPAREK
Incumbent Town of Pomfret Councilman, Mr Kleparek has been serving the residents of the Town of Pomfret since 1994. He has served as a Councilman under the leadership of three Supervisors, Mark Thomas, Ed Woloszyn and Don Steger.
David is a life long area resident with an A.S. degree from Jamestown Community College and a BS degree in Business Administration from Clarion University of Pa. He has worked in sales for 18 years for notable companies such as General Foods and Kimberly-Clark as well as an E2CCB employee for 14 years serving in a School to Work initiative across Chautauqua County.
His wife Margaret is the owner of Facial Expressions Day Spa in Fredonia. They have three grown children and one grandchild. They are members of St. Anthony's Parish in Fredonia.
David is active with the Fredonia-Pomfret Recreation Department and is currenly working on the Pomfret BiCentennial Committee.

LEGISLATOR - CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY DISTRICT 6
REBECCA E. WHITE
Rebecca is seeking the position of Legislator for Election District 6 representing residents of the Town Stockton and the Town of Pomfret districts 7, 8 and 9. This seat currently held by Brian Abram. She is a lifelong resident of Chautauqua County. Rebecca has owned and operated the Make New Friends Day Care successfully for seventeen years. She is also an early childhood educator.
Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from SUNY Fredonia and an Associate in Applied Science from Jamestown Community College.
She currently serves as a public policy representative for the Chautauqua County affiliate to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). She works closely with the New York State Association for the Education of Young Children and Winning Beginning NY which is a statewide coalition working to inform policy-makers and the public about the many benefits of early care and learning to children, families and society. She has served as a member of several Chautauqua County boards.
Some of her goals as County Legislator will be to do her best to ease the tax burden in this county and be aggressive in creating more opportunity and prosperity for all our residents.
Rebecca and her husband, Charles (Chip) are parents of two children a son Jesse and a daughter Cheyenne.


LEGISLATOR - CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY DISTRICT 25
STEPHEN KEEFE
Steve is seeking re-election as Legislator for Election District 25. He has held this seat since January 2001. Steve is a former Village of Fredonia Trustee and Veteran of the US NAVY serving from 1969 - 1973. He is employed as high school, middle school principal at Brocton Central School.
Steve earned a BA in English Education from SUNY Fredonia, M.Ed. at the University of North Wales and a Certificate of Advanced Studies at SUNY Brockport.
Steve and his wife Janet Calanni Keefe are the parents of three children and a grandson. Nicholas and his wife Christine Cruz-Keefe and their son, Stephen Nicholas Keefe, Peter Keefe and Chrisina Keefe.


TOWN OF POMFRET COUNCILMAN
WILLIAM W. HART
Incumbent Town of Pomfret Councilman, Mr. Hart is a retired successful businessman and Chautauqua County Deputy Director. He is a dedicated lifelong Pomfret resident and a veteran of the US Navy.

TOWN OF POMFRET COUNCILMAN
ROBERT McGAUGHEY
Bob McGaughey has announced he will seek election to the post of Councilman for the town of Pomfret. McGaughey has been endorsed by the Democratic Party. A graduate of Gannon University with a degree in political science, Bob began his teaching career at Cardinal Mindszenty High School where he taught history and economics. He became principal of St. Joseph School for Exceptional Children developing and implementing programs for special education students. For twenty-five years, Bob was at Erie II Boces serving as Regional Administrator of vocational, alternative, and special education programs.
He lives in Fredonia with his wife, Ellen. The McGaughey's have two adult children, a daughter Ann, a teacher in Lorraine, Quebec and a son Ryan, a graphic designer in Scottsdale, AZ. They have three grandsons, Zachary, Brett and Tyler.
A resident of Fredonia for the past 27 years, McGaughey looks forward for an opportunity to serve the community as a member of the Town Board.
